The Nukeproof Dissent 297 Carbon represents the next step in the evolution of our highly successful alloy Dissent frame. The transition to carbon, specifically T700/800 carbon, unleashed newfound possibilities for our engineers. It allowed us to sculpt more intricate shapes and swiftly iterate through multiple prototypes to enhance the bike's strength, stiffness, and compliance. The result? A frame that is 430g lighter without sacrificing durability.

Built around our World Cup-winning Fallout Linkage, the Dissent Carbon offers the option to customize key areas to match your riding style. Originally designed as a test mule, it offers varying levels of suspension progression, wheelbase options, and multiple reach positions to tailor the Dissent 297 Carbon for different terrains and riding styles.

The new platform also enabled us to fine-tune the suspension kinematics. The initial high leverage rate provides a supple feel off the top, transitioning into a stable and supportive mid-stroke curve, and finishing with a regressive curve to prevent spiking and maximize travel utilization. This heightened sensitivity allows riders to fine-tune shock performance and accommodate higher spring rates without compromising comfort, making it compatible with the latest air shocks.

The Dissent Carbon is all about customization, making it your perfect match whether you're on a World Cup track, a full day at the park, or shredding desert lines. With features like an adjustable main pivot, a 3-position adjustable reach headset, and rear wheel flip chip for 290 or 297 MX configurations, you can tailor your setup to perfection.

To make it even more rider-friendly, we've introduced a new sizing structure, offering NP1, NP2, and NP3 base frames, allowing for up to +/- 6mm of reach adjustment to ensure a precise fit.

You can choose between 29" and 29"-27.5" Mix (MX) wheel configurations, and seamlessly switch between them by flipping the rear triangle's chip. This adjustment keeps the kinematics and geometry intact, ensuring uncompromised performance.

Both 290 and 297 MX setups offer a generous 200mm of travel, and the Dissent Carbon boasts integrated bump stops, tube-in-tube cable routing, 3D contoured frame protection, and comes with a standard clear protection kit. It retains key features like 2.5" tire clearance, Enduro Bearings, and standards like a Threaded 83mm BB and ISCG05, making it a high-performing race machine that's both easy to live with and work on.
